Predicting 35 Jets that will be cut before Tuesday’s deadline

The preseason is over and now teams across the NFL have some of the toughest decisions to make this week. They have to trim their roster from up to 90 players down to 53. They have to do so by 4:00 eastern Tuesday afternoon.

This year is even tougher because it’s a straight shot down to 53. Previous years saw cuts throughout the preseason. For example, last season, there were cuts from 90 to 85, 85 to 80 and then 80 to 53. Now it’s all in one fell swoop.

Using our 53-man roster projection, here are the players that will get cut, moved to the reserve/PUP list or injured reserve before Tuesday’s deadline.
