Mauricio Pochettino is set to shuffle his pack as Tottenham travel to Colchester United in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
The Spurs boss bristled at a question this week about how seriously he would be taking the competition calling it disrespectful to the squad at his disposal.
He indicated that he had a lot of top quality players, younger and older, who needed game time and that playing them would be taking the competition just as seriously.
Dele Alli and Davinson Sanchez were both left out of the squad for the Premier League defeat at Leicester on Saturday as they continue to work on their fitness after recent injuries.
Lucas Moura, Ben Davies, Eric Dier, Victor Wanyama and Christian Eriksen were all on the bench at the King Power Stadium and are likely to come into the side. Kyle Walker-Peters could also return to the team after missing out on the squad at the weekend.
Juan Foyth is now back in training and a decision has to be made on whether he is fit enough to start against the League Two side.
Then there are the young players. Oliver Skipp could be in line for his first start of the season after a couple of appearances from the bench early in the campaign.
Troy Parrott impressed in pre-season for Tottenham and started a couple of the matches when Harry Kane didn't. Pochettino has to decide whether his debut will come from the bench or in the starting line-up while centre-back Japhet Tanganga was another who shone in pre-season.
Here is the team we reckon Pochettino will start with:
(4-2-3-1) Gazzaniga; Walker-Peters, Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Wanyama, Skipp; Son, Eriksen, Alli; Lucas.
