Predicted Spurs team vs Brighton: Pochettino to make 7 changes after humiliation

Tottenham Hotspur have to get back on track this weekend after their midweek humiliation as they travel to Brighton.

Mauricio Pochettino and his Spurs players were left floored by their 7-2 home defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The Tottenham manager must now decide whether to give most of the same players the chance to redeem themselves or give others with fresh legs a chance to show what they can do against a Brighton team with just one win so far this season in the Premier League.

Serge Aurier misses out through suspension after his red card against Southampton and Pochettino must decide whether Kyle Walker-Peters comes in, or if Juan Foyth is fit enough to start. He could even decide to continue with the Davinson Sanchez experiment at right-back.

On the other side Ben Davies could be handed a start to bring some fresh legs to the left flank.

The midfield may require fresh legs with Eric Dier missing out on another England squad as he waits for game time.

While we await the latest injury updates which will come on Friday morning, here is the team we are currently predicting will start on Saturday lunch-time:

(4-2-3-1) Lloris; Walker-Peters, Sanchez, Vertonghen, Davies; Dier, Ndombele; Lucas, Eriksen, Lamela; Kane.
