Jose Mourinho could well change his policy of recent matches as Bournemouth visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Mourinho way so far has been one of little change and attempting to keep the winning momentum in his Tottenham Hotspur side.
However, the new head coach did also admit that his players looked tired following two matches in quick succession with a near unchanged side following their international exploits and travels.
Mourinho could make just a couple of changes to the team to add some fresh legs. They are unlikely to come in attack with Spurs having scored seven goals in those last two games but Mourinho will want to tighten up the defence, with four goals conceded in his first two matches.
Jan Vertonghen is back and fit to play. He could come into the centre of defence or potentially on the left which would fit Mourinho's system perfectly.
The new head coach prefers to have one full-back bombing on and the other sitting deeper and able to create a back three at times. Ben Davies looked to be set for that role before his injury and Vertonghen could carry it out perfectly, while also allowing Davinson Sanchez, seen as the future of the Spurs defence, to continue to get game time.
In midfield, with Eric Dier having only played 29 minutes, it could be Harry Winks who makes way. Mourinho wants a defensive player and passer together, so that could see Tanguy Ndombele come into the side and add some energy to the centre of the park.
