Predicted Leeds United line-up for Wolves with Liam Cooper decision and Raphinha impressing

Leeds United’s start to Premier League has been excellent and therefore very few changes are expected from Marcelo Bielsa for Monday’s Wolves clash.

Three switches from the XI which started against Manchester City more than two weeks ago seem to be in the offing for the Argentine.

The nailed-on switch looks likely to be Jack Harrison’s return for Ezgjan Alioski after the former was not allowed to face his parent club 15 days ago.

The one enforced change could be in the middle of defence where captain Liam Cooper is nursing another injury, this time in his groin.

The Scotland international has been given a chance to recover, unlike Diego Llorente, but will get a late fitness test at best on Monday.

With the Aston Villa match just four days later, it does not seem likely Bielsa will risk his captain exacerbating the injury if there is any doubt about it on Monday afternoon.

Therefore, Pascal Struijk looks set to rejoin Robin Koch in central defence and reprise the partnership which faced Liverpool on the opening day.

Tyler Roberts has flattered to deceive as a starter in each of the last two Premier League games for United, being hooked by Bielsa before the hour mark in each.

Rodrigo is improving by the match and delivered an immense display from the bench against City on October 3, scoring his first Whites goal in the process.

The Spain international looks poised to return to the line-up and fits the bill as an attacking midfielder capable of helping Patrick Bamford with the press on Wolves’ back three.

Pablo Hernandez is fit again, but surely only from the bench after so long out and with Rodrigo in form.

Bielsa did acknowledge Raphinha’s rapid adaptation in his pre-match press conference, but Helder Costa and Harrison have performed more than well enough to keep the Brazilian off the wings for now.

Predicted line-up: Meslier; Ayling, Koch, Struijk, Dallas; Phillips; Costa, Klich, Rodrigo, Harrison; Bamford.
