Predicted Hull City starting line-up to face Nottingham Forest with Grant McCann considering making changes

Hull City could make changes to their starting 11 as they prepare to face Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.

The Reds welcome the Tigers to the City Ground in midweek in their next test in the Sky Bet Championship.

Sabri Lamouchi and his players will be keen to get their campaign back on track after suffering a 1-0 defeat to Wigan Athletic at the weekend.

That loss saw Forest’s 10-game unbeaten run in the league come to an end, but they are still in a good position in the table going into Wednesday’s clash against the Tigers.

Hull suffered a 3-2 loss at home to Queens Park Rangers, and have now lost their last two league matches, and find themselves in 19th place in the Sky Bet Championship, four points above the relegation zone.

Tigers boss Grant McCann could make changes to his line-up, and our friends at Hull Live have put together a predicted starting 11 that could face Forest.

Goalkeeper George Long is expected to keep his place between the sticks, supported by a back four featuring Eric Lichaj, Reece Burke, Ryan Tafazolli and Callum Elder.

Kevin Stewart, Jarrod Bowen, George Honeyman, Jackson Irvine and Kamil Grosicki are also expected to retain their places from the weekend.

The one change could see Josh Magennis replace Tom Eaves as the main striker, while Jon Toral could make his first appearance of the season.

Possible Hull XI (4-3-3): George Long; Eric Lichaj, Reece Burke, Ryan Tafazolli, Callum Elder; George Honeyman, Kevin Stewart, Jackson Irvine; Jarrod Bowen, Josh Magennis, Kamil Grosicki.
