Blues boss Frank Lampard is expected to ring the changes to his side for the visit of Forest on Sunday, but there is still expected to be Premier League experience in the side.
Willy Caballero is almost certain to start in goal, stepping in for first-choice stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Tariq Lamptey may be handed his full senior debut at right-back, after the 19-year-old made a substitute appearance in last week’s league win over Arsenal.
Emerson could step in at left-back, with Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma may be Lampard’s preferred centre-back pairing at Stamford Bridge.
With Lampard opting to go with a 4-3-3 formation I recent matches, the midfielder could feature established duo Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley, while 18-year-old Billy Gilmour could also get given game time.
Gilmour was linked with a loan move to Forest prior to the January transfer window.
And the forward line is still expected to be strong, with Pedro, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Michy Batshuayi ready to feature against Forest.
