Predicted Arsenal starting line-up for Leeds United clash as Emile Smith Rowe eyes recall

Leeds United will be looking to put their 7-0 humiliation against Manchester City to the back of their mind when they host Arsenal on Saturday.

The Whites are out to avoid losing three consecutive matches for the first under Marcelo Bielsa’s after their defeats at City and Chelsea.

Arsenal currently sit fourth in the Premier League and enter the game at Elland Road in good form after two consecutive resounding home victories against Southampton and West Ham.

Mikel Arteta may be forced into one change from the starting XIs in those two matches, with Gabriel Martinelli set to be assessed after picking up a knock in the win over the Hammers.

Martinelli scored the opener in that game and would be a big miss for the Gunners, however the likely replacement Emile Smith Rowe has also been in fine form as of late.

The 21-year-old has netted five goals in his last seven Premier League appearances and will be hopeful of earning another a start after making a goalscoring return from injury on Wednesday evening.

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang will once again be missing for Arsenal after being stripped of the captaincy earlier this week follow.

Alexandre Lacazette has been his replacement in recent matches and was particularly impressive against West Ham despite missing his first penalty for the club.

Former Leeds defender Ben White will also play in front of a capacity crowd at Elland Road for the first time since his superb loan spell at the club in the 2019/20 season.

Predicted line-up (4-2-3-1): Aaron Ramsdale; Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben White, Gabriel, Kieran Tierney; Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka; Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe; Alexandre Lacazette
