Predict when Liverpool will win Premier League title and where rivals will finish

The Premier League is set to return in just a couple of weeks and the title looks to finally be heading to Anfield.

The action gets back underway on June 17, with Aston Villa taking on Sheffield United and Manchester City facing Arsenal in their games in hand before a full schedule of fixtures on the weekend of June 19-21.

Liverpool get things back underway as they face Everton in the Merseyside derby, and they could have the chance to wrap up the title there and then if Arsenal can do them a favour at the Etihad.

It’s simply a case of when, not if, the Reds wrap up their first league crown since 1990.

Should City avoid a slip-up against the Gunners, then the next available opportunity for Jurgen Klopp’s men to get their hands on the title will be against Crystal Palace in their second game back.

Should they drop any points in either of those games though, they could well end up winning the league against their nearest rivals when they take on Pep Guardiola’s men in their third game.

Beyond the Reds’ inevitable title win though, there’s still plenty to be decided as the season draws to a close.

City and Leicester look to have their places in the top three sewn up, but the battle for fourth remains open, with Chelsea the current incumbents.

And with City facing a European ban from next season, fifth could be enough to secure a team a place in the Champions League.

Manchester United currently hold that position, but Wolves, Sheffield United, Tottenham and Arsenal all remain in the hunt.
