Predict the fate of Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham in the race for Champions League football

There is now less than three months remaining of the 2019/20 season with the end of season running coming ever nearer.

As things stand, Manchester City's two-year ban from the Champions League means that a fifth place finish this season will mean qualification for next year's competition.

That has thrown the race for the positions wide open, while Liverpool, Manchester City and Leicester look solid in the top three positions of the table, teams including Chelsea, Tottenham, Sheffield United, Manchester United, Wolves and Arsenal are battling it out to finish in the remaining three places.

Between now and the end of the season there will be some crucial games played that may well determine the finishing positions of teams.

Soriano: UEFA allegations against Man City simply not true

Tottenham host Manchester United, Chelsea take on Manchester City and Arsenal travel to Wolves all before the end of the campaign in just three games that will have their say in how the table looks at the end of the season.

There is also the small matter of the north London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 26th.

Currently Chelsea and Manchester United are the two teams sitting in fourth and fifth place in the table, but a lot can happen in the next three months.

At the other end of the table, West Ham United put up an encouraging performance against runaway leaders Liverpool on Monday night, but a 3-2 loss means that they were unable to climb out of the relegation zone.

However, the Hammers sit just one points adrift of 17th placed Aston Villa meaning that there is still plenty of hope for David Moyes' men.

Crystal Palace halted a run of four straight defeats with a 1-0 victory over Newcastle on Saturday. The Eagles sit in 13th place in the table nine points clear of West Ham and only seven points from seventh placed Sheffield United.

So what will the fixtures bring us between now and the end of the season? Will the race for fifth place be as close as expected? Will West Ham get out of relegation trouble?
