Predict Manchester United and Man City's opening eight 2019/20 Premier League fixture results

Manchester City will get their Premier League title defence underway with a trip to West Ham on the opening day of next season, while Manchester United travel to Chelsea.

City have won 198 points over the course of the past two campaigns and will look to become the first side to win the league in three consecutive seasons for the first time since United's trio between 2006 and 2009.

The Reds finished sixth last season to miss out on a Champions League berth, and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has set about a squad rebuild this summer.

Daniel James, the Wales international winger, signed from Swansea and further arrivals of young, hungry, British players are expected this summer.
