Prayers for Noah Donohoe at Antrim and Newtownabbey Council

Prayers were offered for the family of Belfast teenager Noah Donohoe at Monday evening’s remote meeting of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.

Fourteen-year-old Noah, a pupil of St Malachy’s College, who had been missing from home, was found dead by a specialist search team in a storm drain on Saturday morning.

Mayor’s chaplain Methodist minister Rev Michael Gregory said: “We pray for the family of Noah Donohoe to comfort them at this sad time, especially for his mother Fiona. Her grief is deep.”

Rev Gregory also prayed for those who have lost their lives due to Covid-19.

“Many are grieving and have not been able to say goodbye to their loves ones,” he said.

He also prayed for those who are still recovering as well as doctors, nurses and health care professionals.

Prayers were offered tor the mayor, deputy mayor, chief executive and officials of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.
