Prana Edinburgh: New Indian eatery lets diners 'choose the price you pay' for meal

A newly opened Indian restaurant has a special offer to entice diners that might surprise you.

Prana Edinburgh was due to open in March, bringing Corstorphine a new Indian eatery in the former site of Abida on St John's Road.

After having to remain shut during the coronavirus lockdown, the owners are desperate to get diners through the door.

To entice foodies to try them out, the eatery has a limited time deal whereby customers can "choose the price you pay".

The offer will run for seven days, until Sunday 26 July, with the owners explaining that it will help them price the menu.

Customers will be given the full menu with all pricing removed, once you've tried and tested the meal you'll be asked to price and pay.

An announcement on the restaurant's Facebook page yesterday read: "Great news! After having two successful launch nights our RATE YOUR PLATE is now open to the public for bookings from tonight.

"You can choose the price you pay for the food you eat at our newly opened restaurant.

"The offer will run for the next 7 days and will allow us to help price our menu to suit our community over the next 7 days.

"We look forward to welcoming you all."
