HYDERABAD: After remaining silent in the aftermath of recent controversies involving Raj Bhavan and Pragati Bhavan, Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan announced on Friday that Praja Darbar at Raj Bhavan will continue and is intended for the people of Telangana. She stated that no one can control her and that she is aware of her own limitations.
During the Ugadi celebrations at Raj Bhavan, she said that issues of the people were taken note of and presented to the government with the help of the grievance mechanism. “I don’t have any ego problem, I am friendly with everyone. Rajbhavan is meant for the welfare of people,” she said.
Her statement assumes significance given the reports that TRS government is particularly unhappy with her conducting Praja Darbar at Raj Bhavan.
