Pragmata is already one of the best-rated Capcom games on Steam, just 3% behind king of kings Resident Evil 4

Pragmata might've taken its sweet time to finally come out, but the wait seems to have been worth all those delays. Capcom's new action-adventure is now one of its best-rated Steam games ever, and only a couple points behind its magnum opus, Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Pragmata launched in full just yesterday, but it's already amassed well over 1,500 English language reviews over on Steam alone with a whopping 97% of players giving it the thumbs up for an 'Overwhelmingly Positive' rating.

"Capcom are on an absolute generational run right now. It's refreshing to see a big publisher take a risk on a new single-player IP like Pragmata," one of the game's glowing user reviews reads. Many others gush over the game's hacking 'n' shooting gameplay, spacey atmosphere, and Diana - the child companion who refreshingly acts like an actual child, scribbling over your otherwise pristine space suit and bombarding you with inquisitive questions.

When it comes to all reviews, Pragmata has a still-impressive 93% positive score on the platform, enough to rocket onto Capcom's all-time best-rated Steam games. For reference, king of kings Resident Evil 4 Remake has a mighty 96% positive score, while around 93% of all players gave Pragmata a good review.

Still, Pragmata is just a day old and it's possible that many of its players simply haven't played enough of the 15-ish-hour game to come to verdict. It's score is likely to fluctuate in the days and weeks to come, but with three of the top ten games of the year so far, one thing is for sure: Capcom are absolutely killing it right now.

For now, check out our Pragmata review and 12 Pragmata tips to get you started.
