Prior to his career in higher education, Jon worked in public relations for a range of statutory organisations and PR agencies.
After becoming a freelance PR consultant in 2000, Jon worked for a number of well-respected PR agencies including Ketchum and Lexis. During this time, Jon also worked as a freelance journalist, contributing articles on a range of subjects including public relations to the Guardian, the Evening Standard and other publications.
Jon joined the Red Consultancy in 2002, working across a broad client portfolio including Yellow Pages, Elsevier Publishing, Wyeth, Lilly Icos, McDonald's and Braun.
He is currently associate dean of the School of Creative Industries at University for the Creative Arts.
