PR agency See Media moves HQ to Birmingham

A communications agency which specialises in the housing sector has relocated its head office to Birmingham from London.

See Media said the move was as a result of recent business growth and new appointments, prompting it take up space in the city centre Colmore Building.

Its payroll has been boosted recently by two new hires, both of whom come from the Midlands, and winning a brief from housing provider Stonewater to handle its PR activity.

Account director Sarah Thomas joined the team from Word Association and has more than 20 years of experience in the PR industry, working in sectors such as education, local authority, technology and not-for-profit.

The other new recruit was senior account executive Sara-Anne Mills-Bricknell who previously worked for Stone Junction and the Mercian Regiment.

Managing director Stuart Macdonald said: "Since the company's inception in 2014, I've been a strong advocate for remote working and so, for years, many of the company's colleagues have been scattered across the UK.

"With none of us living in London and 80 percent of our team now located in the Midlands, it only made sense to bring our headquarters to the heart of the country.

"With our newest team members and our boundless appetite for progression, moving to the youngest city in Europe seemed a smart choice given that we already seem to recruit from the PR pool talent it has to offer."
