My ambitions of getting high by washing different objects on a monitor have got a new push with the price confirmation of PowerWash Simulator 2. While I am delighted to learn the game's cost, a key piece of information is still eagerly awaited by the community.
PowerWash Sim 2's pricing seems to be on point, but the release date is a mystery
Aug. 14's briefing revealed that PowerWash Simulator 2 will be available on all platforms at $24.99/£19.99. There will be regional pricing as well, resulting in a lower price for those in developing economies. For that price, there's plenty on offer.
The standalone sequel will have a 38-level career mode along with a host of new features.
- split-screen co-op
- 4-player online campaign
- Better visuals
- New traversal mechanics
- More equipment
- customizable home base
- pettable cats.
What's incredible is FuturLab's acknowledgement of the rising costs of living and how expensive video games are becoming in general. The developers want PowerWash Simulator 2 to continue along the lines of the first game, which includes keeping the price the same.
The developers highly appreciate the feedback and reception of the original PowerWash Simulator and how it managed to win over fans. You can expect plenty of post-launch content, including licensed items 2026. While all of these sound quite promising, an exact release date is yet to be announced: All we have got is a potential launch window in late 2025.
The game is currently being developed for players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
