Potential spoiler warning for Power season 6
Is Ghost a ghost?
The midseason finale of Power season 6 saw Ghost ( Omari Hardwick ) shot by a mysterious assailant and fall from a balcony, leaving his fate undetermined.
Posts on social media by Hardwick led to fans fearing that the central character had indeed met a grisly end and wouldn't be returning to the show.
However, an exclusive look at the new episodes from TV Line shows Ghost seemingly alive and well and in a confrontation with son Tariq.
While there is the possibility of this scene being a flashback, it gives the strong possibility of Ghost living to strike back at his attacker.
Series showrunner Courtney Kemp teased TV Line: “He got shot . I didn’t see him die .”
She also revealed that the final run of episodes would show the same event from different viewpoints and was inspired by the film Rashomon.
Characters in the frame for shooting Ghost include Tasha, Tate, Tommy, Tariq, Pax and Dre.
However, is there a possibility that Ghost's appearance in the final episodes is as a hallucination or dream?
Kemp previously said: "If you’re a fan of the show, you probably know how fast you’re going to find out certain aspects of things.
"I’ll say that the who and the how here are going to be as important as the what ."
Very ominous!
