A huge power cut is currently affecting hundreds of properties in Wythenshawe.
There are 850 homes without power in the Baguley area, Electricity North West has confirmed.
The power cut was first reported at around 4.50pm.
It should be restored by around 7.50pm, according to the Electricity North West website.
In a tweet, the supplier said 'control engineers are completing safety checks to remotely restore power'.
