Homes and businesses in the Colinton and Oxgangs area were this morning experiencing a power cut – with more than 200 customers affected.
SP Energy Networks reported shortly before 9.30am that there had been a problem in the EH13 postcode.
A large area to the south of the city is located in this postcode with Colinton, Oxgangs and part of Firrhill potentially affected.
SP Energy Network added that engineers were working to resolve the issue, and they were keen to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
They have since confirmed that the issue has been resolved, and 212 customers were affected in total.
