With Poundland one of the UK's 'essential shops' which has been allowed to stay open during lockdown, many shoppers are looking to it for items such as cleaning products and food on a budget.
But it looks like Poundland is selling more than just lockdown essentials, as shoppers have spotted an X-rated new Valentine's Day range on shelves, and they've received a mixed response.
For just £4, customers can get their hands on a vibrating love egg that comes with 10 different pulsating settings. The vibrations can be controlled by yourself or a partner using the remote control.
The budget store is also selling a set of love beads and a g-spot vibrator, both costing £8 each.
There's also a sexy black-and-white bodysuit (£5) and a two-pack of boxers for £5.
The new toys can be found alongside Poundland's other Nooky products, including the Bonkin' Bunny vibrator.
A post highlighting the saucy new releases was shared on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group. It read: "Check out the Poundland Valentines Range. Only visit as part of an essential shop."
"Wow. I'll never take my 9 year old in Poundland again. Children don't need to see these," said one upset shopper.
"So you can't buy clothes or toys for your children but you can buy essential vibrators," wrote another.
"Yeah was a little awkward walking through that aisle with my 9 year old girl lol," a third shopper added.
However, other shoppers weren't quite so offended, and seemed keen to get their hands on one of the 'lockdown essentials'.
"Imagine being category manager for this range," someone wrote.
A second chimed in: "Think a trip to Poundland is in store."
