Poundland's light up pumpkin set to fly off the shelves for Halloween

There's a shock in store down at Poundland with their spooky Halloween range.

Trick or treating may have to be done in accordance with coronavirous social distancing but the shop is providing everything you need to decorate your home.

Stand out in the range is a collection of light up pumpkins covered in metallic crackle-glass for £1.50.

Such is the demand for them shoppers have been their desperation at trying to find one, with one user admitting to visiting multiple stores, The Liverpool Echo reports.

Twitter user @Thumbernails said: "I’ve been to four different Poundland shops today looking for a specific glass pumpkin decoration.

"My daughter wanted one so off I went... In each shop, sold out. Nothing but empty shelves. They’re on eBay for stupid money."

Elsewhere, one lucky Poundland customer said: "How stunning is this glass light up pumpkin I just picked up in @Poundland of all places! I absolutely love it and it was only £1.50 #lbloggers #hbloggers."

Poundland also recently shared an image to its Facebook page of the pumpkins, and again was left with comments from customers yet to find them in their local stores.

It's not surprising to see so much demand for the pumpkins, as they look almost identical to ones stocked my Wayfair but for much less.
