From makeup to pregancy tests, Poundland is filled with heaps of unusual and surprising items - but now it's offering something very different for 2020.
The discount retailer has launched a brand new gold-coloured vibrator, which is described as “small, slim and super strong” on the packaging.
The new Caress toy retails at just £1 - so it's a fraction of the price of rival versions from Ann Summers and Lovehoney. It also comes with batteries.
Whilst the coronavirus lockdown has forced the majority of the UK's high street stores to close, Poundland shops have been allowed to remain open - which means customers can pick up the new sex toy on their next essential shop.
The timely launch means couples or singletons hoping to spice things up while stuck indoors can do so without overspending.
But this isn't the first sex toy sold by the budget high street chain - it first launched a bullet toy back in 2016 and it soon became a best-seller.
The £1 Caress toy costs almost £7 less than the cheapest gold vibrator sold by Lovehoney, which retails at £7.99 and measures at five inches.
It's also £12 cheaper than the lowest-price gold vibrator from Ann Summers (£13).
Annoyingly, Poundland doesn't have an online store - so you'll need to pop into your nearest branch if you want to get your hands on the Caress toy.
Poundland currently has around 80 stores in the UK, but 100 are temporarily closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. You can check if your nearest store is open by using the online store finder.
