Pound-for-pound rankings: Canelo Alvarez rises after Kovalev win to become four-weight world champion

Canelo Alvarez crushed ‘Krusher’ Kovalev on Saturday with a brutal 11th round knockout to pick up a fourth world title in as many divisions.

A historic achievement and now just the fourth fighter to capture world titles at both 154 and 175 pounds after: Sugar Ray Leonard, Thomas Hearns and Mike McCallum.

Also Canelo became the fourth Mexican to ever win world titles in four weight divisions after: Erik Morales, Jorge Arce and Juan Manuel Marquez.

Is that enough to usurp Vasyl Lomachenko though? And what about Gennady Golovkin, the Mexican’s long-standing, bitter rival? Is he still inside the top 10?

Here are the updated rankings for November.

Who would be your No 1 fighter pound-for-pound?
