Potted Pig cancel bookings and changes opening hours as 'staff need a break'

Top independent Cardiff restaurant The Potted Pig has changed their opening hours and cancelled customer bookings in the face of widespread staff shortages in the hospitality industry.

The popular restaurant set in a former bank vault on High Street said they are having to change their opening hours until November as their "staff need a break" and are experiencing staff shortages.

Just four days ago The Potted Pig also posted that they were hiring new staff, including a commis chef with two years experience. Now the restaurant has altered its opening hours and had to cancel bookings as the lack of staff is putting a lot of pressure on their current team.
