Potential top NFL draft prospects to watch for Bengals this weekend

The calendar has turned to November, which means there aren’t too many weeks of the regular season left in college football. This means opportunities are winding down for draft prospects. Here are a few to check out this week, both for the Cincinnati Bengals and overall.

Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia (vs. Florida)

We’ll start this week on the offensive line. While quarterback is certainly more likely, we’ll at least touch on the line and check out who may be the best of the class in Andrew Thomas against a strong Florida defense in what is always a classic rivalry in Jacksonville.

Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon (at USC)

Herbert is probably the best potential pick at quarterback playing this week as both LSU (Joe Burrow) and Alabama (Tua Tagovailoa) are off this week and preparing for their huge game in Tuscaloosa next week. Herbert faces another test this week as he leads the Ducks into southern California to take on the Trojans of USC. Oregon is right in the mix for the Pac-12 title and a spot in the College Football Playoff, but the Trojans have been feisty this season and knocked Utah off the list of unbeatens a few weeks ago.

Brycen Hopkins, TE, Purdue (vs. Nebraska)

A potential option at the top of round two (or even trading back into round one) as the Bengals have had inconsistencies from their tight ends this season. Hopkins is second on the team with 34 catches, 441 yards and three touchdowns this season, being a bright spot for what has been a disappointing season for the Boilermakers.

Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU (at Oklahoma State)

Reagor has been nothing short of incredible this season and the Bengals will soon have to deal with life after A.J. Green. Grabbing Reagor in round two would a nice start to such a life. Reagor can simply beat you in a number of ways, something the Bengals could certainly use. The Horned Frogs hit the road to take on Oklahoma State.
