Potential MSU 5-star recruit Isaiah Jackson switching to Michigan high school for senior year

Jake Weingarten, the owner of Stockrisers.com, reported earlier today that Isaiah Jackson will be transferring to Waterford Mott High School, a school just outside of Pontiac, Michigan. The 5-star power forward played at SPIRE institute last season alongside other big names like LaMelo Ball and Mark ‘Rocket’ Watts.

Of course, Rocket Watts has already committed to Michigan State, and the Spartans still listed as a contender for the recruitment of his former teammate Jackson.

Jackson currently has a 100% chance to go to Michigan State as projected by 247sports’ ‘Crystal Ball’ Predictions. While Jackson is still being recruited by schools like Louisville, Arizona, Michigan, and Connecticut, it’s a good sign that he will be transferring to a school near East Lansing.

The Rochester, Michigan local is currently listed as the #3 power forward in the country for the 2020 recruiting class and the #14 player in the country overall.

This would be a coup of a recruitment by Izzo, but it would also likely lead to some tough choices; we’ve already written plenty about how stuffed the frontcourt will be in 2020.
