Potential Lakers target Joakim Noah has words with Phoenix’s Devin Booker

As far as August content in the NBA usually goes, the short clip of an argument between potential Lakers target Joakim Noah and Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker is about as spicy as it gets. And it may be one of the best advertisements for Noah to potentially latch on to the Lakers as they scour the market for a center to help solidify the position after last week’s injury to DeMarcus Cousins.

In an otherwise normal open gym run, Noah decided to have his team send a double team to Booker in the corner. Booker than countered by saying he “we don’t double” in open gym to which Noah quickly replied “yes we do,” with a hilarious stare at Booker as if asking, “is this guy for real?”

Obviously, Booker is a great player but Noah showed that his competitive fire and obsession with defense is still there. Considering what the Lakers need at the center position; someone who is willing to commit themselves to the dirty work so Anthony Davis and LeBron don’t have to do as much, Noah might be the perfect fit even if he can’t play starters minutes at 34 years old.
