'Potential is limitless' - Leeds United fans react in unison to Crysencio Summerville signing

Leeds United have been busy in the transfer market so far this summer and the latest addition to Marcelo Bielsa's squad was announced on Wednesday.

The Whites have signed Crysencio Summerville from Feyenoord on an undisclosed fee, with the 18-year-old penning a three-year deal.

Leeds have signed the likes of Rodrigo and Robin Koch to their first-team squad but Summerville will initially join with Mark Jackson's under-23s ranks.

That has been a trend of Leeds' transfer activity this summer, with a focus on bolstering the next generation at Elland Road.

Summerville follows on from the signings of Cody Drameh, Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Dani van den Huevel in the summer transfer window.

While he will initially continue his development in the under-23s ranks, Leeds fans on social media could not hold their excitement about the decision - and made it clear who they want next.

Summerville will initially join up with Leeds' under-23s side but it seems that fans are hoping that he can work his way into the first-team frame sooner rather than later.

That opportunity could come in the Carabao Cup, should Leeds see off Hull this evening, or potentially in the FA Cup when Leeds enter the competition in January.

If he does catch the eye though, he could earn a Premier League debut but it's clear Summerville is a signing for the long-term.
