Nottingham Forest could reportedly be set to make £1m from the sale of Jack Robinson to Sheffield United.
The full-back is said to be the Premier League outfit, having fallen out of favour at the City Ground.
And according to Football Insider, the two clubs “have agreed a fee rising to £1m” for Robinson to make a permanent move.
The defender’s Forest contract is due to expire at the end of the season, when he would be available as a free agent.
Amid the speculation about Robinson linking up with Chris Wilder’s team, a potential new signing was shown around the Blades’ training ground on Monday morning.
Football Insider say: “The left-back has been given the go-ahead to discuss personal terms as he closes in on a permanent move to Bramall Lane.”
The 26-year-old has made 19 appearances in the Garibaldi but has not been included in the matchday squad for the last two Championship games.
He last featured in the 3-2 victory over Blackburn Rovers on New Year’s Day, with his last outing before that coming in Forest’s 4-0 thumping by Sheffield Wednesday in mid-December.
Yuri Ribeiro and Chema have recently both been ahead of Robinson in the pecking order under head coach Sabri Lamouchi.
