Potential Dundee United Conference League play-off rivals confirmed

Dundee United Conference League Rapid Vienna AIK

Dundee United's possible route to the league phase of the Conference League has been confirmed.

The Tannadice club take on Rapid Vienna in the third qualifying round of the competition after beating UNA Strassen in the second qualifying round.

Now, Dundee United's potential opponents in the play-off round can be confirmed.

Should United overcome Rapid Vienna, then they will face the winners of he tie between AIK of Sweden and Gyori Eto of Hungary.

They will play the first match away from home with the second leg at Tannadice, if they qualify for the play-off round.

The Conference League play-off matches will be played on Thursday, August 21, with the second leg on Thursday, August 28.

Dundee United know that losing in the qualifying rounds would end their European journey this season.

Victory in the third qualifying round and play-off round would see Dundee United compete in the league phase of the competition.
