A potential Dundalk signing spotted on Tinder claiming to play for the club is currently on trial with the Lilywhites.
American footballer Jesus 'Chino' Perez, 22, has been training with Vinny Perth's side ahead of the 2020 season.
It comes after the midfielder was spotted on the dating app claiming to play for the club, seemingly giving away a transfer announcement before any official confirmation from Dundalk.
But the Irish Mirror understands he is yet to sign a deal with the Irish champions.
Perez has previously played in the USA with UIC Flames, a collegiate team for the University of Illinois.
He took home the Horizon League Player of the Year and was named in the USC All-North Region first team this year.
Dundalk are preparing for the new Airtricity League season without midfield ace Robbie Benson, who left Oriel Park to join Stephen O'Donnell's St Patrick's Athletic.
