Potential clamper left cheeky note by 'wee Monaghan mammies' who were parting at Westlife in Croke Park

Some 'wee Monaghan girls' have raised eyebrows after leaving a cheeky note on their car looking for leeway with the clampers while they partied at Westlife in Croke Park.

The boys rocked Dublin last week as they played two sold-out gigs in GAA HQ with tens of thousands descending on the capital before and after.

The sheer volume of people in North Dublin always meant parking was going to be tricky, and by the looks of things four fans were well aware they'd have to chance their arm a bit when leaving the car off.

In a note spotted by Eoin O'Mahony in D9, the "mammys" explained they had a break from 13 kids for the night and their poor husbands would be awfully stressed if they got clamped.

It said: "To the parking man/lady

"We do apologise for the parking but we are four country girls and we are dying to see Westlife.

"We have 13 small kids between us (not joking) and are just glad to be out for the day.

"But please don't clamp us as our hubbys will find it stressful enough without us for one day and will be so glad to see us home tongiht.

"Forever grateful, four wee Monaghan mammys!"

We have no idea if it worked or not, or even how dodgy their parking was. But hopefully nobody had to drive up and collect them.
