Julian Draxler provides update on his future amid Tottenham links

It appears that Christian Eriksen will be heading out of the exit door at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer as he looks for a new challenge.

Signed from Ajax ahead of the 2013/14 season, the Dane only has one year left on his contract and has revealed that he would like to move on.

Real Madrid have been heavily linked with a move for the 27-year-old but they will more than likely have to cash in on players at the Santiago Bernabeu given they have already spent around €250million on Eden Hazard and three other signings.

Spurs themselves have been linked with some big names as they try to find a player capable of filling Eriksen's boots.

Paris Saint-Germain's Julian Draxler has been mentioned in regards to a summer move to N17 after finding himself in and out of the team at the Parc des Princes.

Amid links with Spurs, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen recently, the 25-year-old has poured cold water on talk that he could leave the French capital before the transfer window slams shut.

"I cannot say anything about that, because I have no intention of leaving the club," he told Bild (via Goal).

"I have heard nothing from the club [in regards to leaving]. I have not talked to anyone, I know nothing," he added.

Giovani Lo Celso, Bruno Fernandes and James Maddison are just some of the other players to have been linked with a move to Spurs to replace Eriksen.
