Potential CB prospect target for Cardinals has injured foot, won’t work out at combine

The Arizona Cardinals could target a cornerback in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft, especially with the 27th pick in the round. One cornerback connected to the Cardinls in some mock drafts is Alabama’s Kool-Aid McKinstry.

McKinstry was at the NFL combine and planned on workout out, but things changed after medical evaluations. He discovered he had a fracture in his right foot.

He would not be able to participate in athletic testing as a result.

McKinstry is projected to go as high as the middle of the first round. He should recover from his injury in time for training camp. He measured 5-foot-11 5/8 and weighed 199 pounds.

In three seasons for the Crimson Tide, he had two interceptions, 23 pass breakups, two sacks and 93 tackles.
