To celebrate its 40th anniversary, the charity United Response has asked people with, or affected by, disabilities to express what is important to them through art, poetry, stories, collages or messages – and to fit it all in the blank space of a postcard.
Postcards from the Edges is about reaching people who often feel marginalised and offering them a chance to challenge preconceptions around disability. The project has already attracted celebrity attention. Oscar-winner Emma Thompson, Olympian Sally Gunnell, and Paralympians Hannah Cockroft and Dame Sarah Storey are among those who have supported the project and created postcards.

And for those who'd like their contributions to be included in the charity's exhibitions of entries in September, you can also submit entries to the United Response website.
