Possible Rugby World Cup quarter-final dates and times for Ireland if they beat Samoa

Ireland will face either South Africa or New Zealand in the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals if they beat Samoa on Saturday.

Joe Schmidt's men take on the Samoans in their final Pool A game after victories over Scotland and Russia, with a defeat to Japan between those games.

If successful on Saturday, they will face South Africa (if Ireland top their pool) or New Zealand (if they finish pool runners-up).

We will need to wait on the result of Japan v Scotland on Sunday to see the final pool placings.

But if Ireland top the pool they will face South Africa on Sunday, October 20 at 11.15am Irish time.

If they finish in second place, the All Blacks will be waiting for Johnny Sexton and co on Saturday, October 19 at 11.15am Irish time.
