Leeds are confident Kalvin Phillips’ shoulder injury will not rule him out of England's squad for the Euros.
Leeds are assessing Phillips after he damaged his right shoulder in the final seconds of Leeds’ win over West Brom on Sunday and their initial diagnosis is that it looks positive.
They do not have the full picture yet and Leeds’ medical team, headed by Rob Price, were examining Phillips on Monday.
Leeds said in a statement: “Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips picked up a shoulder injury in the closing stages of Sunday's Premier League fixture with West Bromwich Albion.
“This is currently being treated conservatively, however, we remain confident he will be available for Euro 2020, if selected for the England squad.”
Phillips, 25, has won seven caps since making his debut in September and is key to Gareth Southgate’s plans for the Euros.

The midfielder was hurt in stoppage time when he challenged West Brom’s Grady Diangana and fell awkwardly on his shoulder.
Phillips looked in obvious pain as he walked off, holding his right shoulder.
He did not need to go to hospital and was able to return to Elland Road later in the evening for the end of the club's annual awards event.
The academy graduate missed nearly five weeks in the autumn when he damaged his shoulder in a defeat to Wolves at Elland Road.
Phillips’ injury marred what was a great end to Leeds’ first season back in the Premier League as they finished ninth to record their best season since 2002.

They finished strongly, notching up seven wins and two draws in their last 10 games.
Significantly, they only conceded eight goals during that run after averaging over two goals a game before Christmas.
Patrick Bamford ended the campaign with an impressive 17 Premier League goals and he says the team continues to improve under Marcelo Bielsa’s tutelage.
“As a team we couldn’t have really asked for more than what we have done in our first year back in the Premier League, it really is quite special,” said the striker.
“That’s testament to the boys and the coaching staff, everybody has put so much work in, so we’ll have a well-deserved break now.
“We’re getting better and better the more we work under Marcelo and whilst it is hard and very demanding, the boys love him. Everyone is so appreciative of what he has done for us and the team.”
