Positive case attended Chapman Primary school after care

Another school site has been affected by Canberra's Covid outbreak, after a positive case attended Chapman Primary's after school care while potentially infectious.

A letter sent to staff and parents said a staff member was potentially infectious when they worked at the Chapman Primary after school care building on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon last week.

"This staff member was considered potentially infectious when they worked at the Chapman Primary After School Care building between 2.30pm and 6pm on Tuesday and Wednesday 11 August.

"Close contacts are being contacted and will be advised to quarantine... other members of the Chapman Primary School community are not considered close contacts."

This follows a positive case in a student at Lyneham High School, who attended the school from Monday, August 9 to Thursday, August 12 last week.

Another student at Gold Creek School also tested positive to COVID-19 last week. The 14-year-old student was infectious at the school from Monday, August 9 to Wednesday, August 11.

Three cases also attended the CIT Bruce and Reid campuses while infectious last week.
