Positive Bolton Wanderers injury update on Eoin Doyle, Tom White, Gethin Jones, Lloyd Isgrove and Shaun Miller

Ian Evatt has revealed that Bolton Wanderers striker Eoin Doyle is 'improving fast' after his hamstring injury is progressing better than expected and midfielder Tom White is available for selection.

Wanderers are on the road this weekend to take on Leyton Orient in their final game of a busy October.

Bolton will be without several players who are still recovering from respective injuries.

Gethin Jones has been recovering from ankle joint damaged suffered in the victory against Harrogate Town, while Doyle is currently out with a hamstring injury.

Winger Lloyd Isgrove and striker Shaun Miller are also recovering from setbacks.

But speaking ahead of the clash against the O's, Evatt revealed midfielder Tom White is now back in training and available for selection, having suffered an injury in the EFL Trophy loss to Shrewsbury Town earlier this month.

Jones is now back on the grass, while Doyle is 'improving fast' with his hamstring injury progressing better than anticipated.

And Isgrove and Miller are both now taking part in elements of training, as Evatt delivered a positive injury update.

"We haven’t had everyone available all at once yet but when we do I actually think we have got a very good squad,” he said.

“Gethin Jones was back on the grass today, which was great to see, and Lloyd Isgrove and Shaun Miller have joined in again with parts of training.

“Eoin Doyle is improving fast, his hamstring is settling better than we thought, so that’s great as well.

“Hopefully we’re on the right path in terms of getting everyone available for selection.”
