'Posh chip shop' Chip'd is opening in Dockside Dining on Liverpool waterfront

A ‘sophisticated and unique chippy’ concept is opening in Liverpool this weekend.

Chip’d , a Dutch-inspired artisan chip shop, is launching its year long residency in the waterfront Dockside Dining Club at Mann Island.

The news comes after the street food concept opened its first permanent venue on Northgate Street on Chester.

To celebrate the opening, the first 50 guests to visit this weekend will receive a free cone of the Dutch-inspired ‘twice-fried’ chips.

Founder, Andrew Mckechnie, comments: “After an amazing launch in Chester where we’ve had great feedback, we’re delighted to be able to open our first location in Liverpool and work with some quality operators down at the Dockside.

“It’s fantastic to be part of the city’s independent food and drink scene and we look forward to welcoming our first Liverpool guests with some chips on the house.”

Liverpool restaurant and bar scene continues to boom as London and other cities feel the heat

Chip’d will be fully open for business on Saturday March, 30 at 12pm.

Opening hours will be seven days a week 12pm till 10pm. For more information, visit: chipd.co.uk
