Portuguese media link Celtic with pacy Boavista winger Alberth Elis

Ange Postecoglou's Celtic revolution is well and truly underway and it seems he could have his eyes fixed on the Portuguese market in the shape of Alberth Elis.

The Hoops are known to be light in the wide attacking areas, particularly now Mohamed Elyounoussi has ended his two-year loan spell and returned to parent club Southampton, and with Ryan Christie's future far from certain.

However, it looks as though the new Parkhead gaffer is well aware of his new side's issues and is attempting to rectify them.

According to Portuguese news outlet A Bola, Honduran attacker Elis is being tracked by the Glasgow giants but they're not alone in their admiration for Elis, with West Ham and Southampton also keeping tabs on the 25-year-old's situation.

Not only can Elis play on either wing, but he can also be deployed as a central striker, which could be useful given Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths could very well be heading for pastures new this summer.

With Champions League qualifiers just around the corner, Postecoglou will need to get his shopping down pretty sharpish.
