Portugal vs Germany prediction: Diogo Jota backed to score at Allianz Arena

Portugal are just one win away from securing a place in the knockout stages and have the chance to rub salt into the wounds of Germany who failed to win against France in front of a home crowd.

The reigning champions are 11/5 to win with Grosvenor Sport while Germany are 27/20 and a draw is 23/10.

Despite their talent, Germany were unable to get a result from France at the Allianz Arena as Les Bleus went on to secure a huge win in the so called 'Group of Death'

The 1-0 defeat would have been a hard one to take and with Portugal in form, it will be harder to get a result out of them if their form were to continue.

To make matters worse, Portugal look like a solid threat going forward and even Cristiano Ronaldo is showing no signs of stopping which is incredible considering not many 36-year-old professional footballers are able to do the things he can do.

Tips

  • Diogo Jota to score anytime - 3/1
  • Portugal to win - 11/5

Of course, Ronaldo is a great shout to bet on to score at anytime and is the favourite to do so at 13/8 however, I am going to go for Diogo Jota.

The Liverpool winger looked like a threat on the left-wing and linked well with the likes of Bruno Fernandes in their last outing.

With Germany looking a little vulnerable at times on their right-hand side, Jota may have a chance or two to help grab Portugal the win.
