Portsmouth turn down two fresh bids for alleged Cardiff City, Millwall, Leeds United and Wigan target Jamal Lowe - reports

Portsmouth have reportedly turned down two fresh bids for star asset Jamal Lowe.

Cardiff City , Leeds United and Middlesbrough have all been linked with a move for the winger this summer, along with Millwall and Wigan.

So far, it's believed that only the latter two have made any sort of concrete approach, with both clubs previously having bids of £1.5m knocked back.

Portsmouth value Lowe at around £3m and, according to The News , the latest approach is likely to have come from one of those two clubs.

The level of interest in the 24-year old from the Bluebirds isn't yet clear, but Neil Warnock is believed to be in the market for a wideman and Lowe could well fit the bill.

The player has not yet made a formal transfer request, but it's understood that he would be open to a move away in this window, particularly if he's given the chance to test himself at a higher level.

Pompey boss Kenny Jackett has stressed that he is keen to keep Lowe, who is contracted until next summer, with the club having an additional 12-month option.

Lowe found the net during Wednesday night's 11-0 demolition of UCD and will return to England with the rest of the squad on Friday.
