Bristol City's FA Cup third round opponents have been given a big boost ahead of the weekend with Portsmouth boss Kenny Jackett having a clean bill of health.
Pompey are the visitors to Ashton Gate on Sunday, with the League One side travelling to face Bristol City with the opportunity to reach the fourth round of the competition up for grabs.
And Jackett has been handed a big boost ahead of the game, with the Portsmouth boss confirming that all of his players will be fit to make the trip to Bristol.
That follows Portsmouth not having a game for more than three weeks, with their December meetings with Swindon Town and Bristol Rovers called off due to a number of positive coronavirus cases in Jackett’s squad and last weekend’s trip to Accrington Stanley postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Because of that, Pompey are set to field a full-strength side this weekend against the Robins, with none of Jackett’s side set to miss out on the trip to Bristol through either injury, suspension or coronavirus.
“We are all good, we have no injury problems, fully-fit squad,” Jackett told Hampshire Live.
“Nobody has got any problems with Covid either, it is a clear round and all negative tests.
“Really looking forward to the games coming back again. We have had just over three weeks since the Hull game, a round of Covid ourselves where five people tested positive and then a frozen pitch at Accrington that has disrupted our season so far.
This is in stark contrast to City, who could be without as many as 12 players for the game, with Dean Holden facing a large injury list ahead of the clash.
