Portaferry Road Newtownards closed following crash

A Co Down road has been closed this morning following a collision.

The Portaferry Road in Newtownards is shut to motorists after the crash.

A police spokesman said: "The road is closed close to the junction with Finlays Road and close to the junction with Mountstewart Road. Diversions are in place."

There are no further details at this stage.
