Niall Currie says Portadown's only focus is performances on the pitch as the club submits their appeal after they lost the three points following their victory over Newry City last week.
The Ports won the game 3-1 but had the points rescinded by the NI Football League on Friday after they were found guilty of a breach of Premiership Rules.
The issue surrounds the eligibility of Alberto Balde, who was replaced post-deadline on the team sheet in the starting eleven by Leo Donnellan before coming on as a First half substitute.

The Shamrock Park outfit revealed their shock at the decision to dock them the points and insisted they believe the correct procedures were followed throughout.
The club revealed they will not comment on the issue until after the appeal, instead Currie challenged his team to repeat the performance they produced at Newry when they entertained Ballymena United on Saturday.
The Ports boss was a happy man at the end as his side took all three points thanks to Josh Archer's first-half strike.
Currie says his side have to take care of the business on the pitch as the points issue rumbles on in the background.
"Yes we're disappointed at the minute, with at the minute being the appropriate phrase," said the Portadown boss.
"We've told the players to forget about everything and to concentrate on backing up the performance from Newry which got us the fully-deserved three points.
"We just have to let the situation evolve and we will focus on getting as many wins as we can.
"We've had an unbelievable performance against Ballymena, an unbelievable performance against Newry and we were very good against the Glens as well.
"We're going in the right direction, we're getting the right enthusiasm and desire, and getting people to care."
