Police are investigating a high speed hit and run crash on Garvaghy Rd in Portadown .
The incident happened around 9:45pm on Saturday when a silver BMW came at high speed out of Garvaghy Park and struck a car on Garvaghy Road.
The impact forced the grey VW Jetta, which was parked and unoccupied, up onto the kerb.
Damage caused included significant damage to the driver's side door and a punctured tyre.
A PSNI spokesperosn said: "Thankfully the Jetta was parked and unoccupied. Even more thankfully, there were no children or families walking on the footpath at the time.
"The BMW did not stop and made off away from Portadown town centre towards the roundabout.
"This could have been very different.
"We believe the registration of the silver BMW began with T, and that there will be noticeable damage to it.
"If you know who was responsible, or spot a silver BMW matching that description, please get in touch.
"If you were driving on Garvaghy Road at the time, please check any dash cam footage and get in touch.
"The incident number is 1932 of 15/06/19."
