Port Vale suffer injury blow to key attacking threat ahead of Bolton Wanderers clash

Bolton's opponents on Saturday Port Vale are poised to be without the services of winger David Amoo who is due to be out for the next two to three weeks.

The Valiants are the visitors to the University of Bolton Stadium this Saturday for a 3pm kick-off in League Two.

John Askey's side head to BL6 on the back of five straight losses, in stark contrast to Wanderers who have won their last quintet of matches in all competitions.

For this weekend's match, Vale attacking threat Amoo is due to be absent with a hamstring problem picked up in the 3-2 loss to Leyton Orient, Stoke on Trent Live reports.

Amoo has scored once and notched an assist this season so far for Askey's side.

The 29-year-old has been at Vale Park since last summer and has scored six goals in 46 appearances for John Askey's side since joining from Cambridge United.

He has played nine times this season for the Valiants.

Possible replacements for Amoo out wide include Cristian Montano and David Worrall.

The Trotters will be without striker Shaun Miller and midfielder Andrew Tutte for the match on Saturday with thigh problems.

Wanderers go into the game sitting 10th in League Two and just two points from the play-offs.

They are three points and four places ahead of Port Vale in the table ahead of kick-off.
